The homeowners wanted a modern-yet-rustic farmhouse kitchen. We started with the Belgian clay tile for the kitchen floors. This tile has a beautiful natural texture and a dark color that grounds this kitchen. It also feels so good under the feet ! We used a workstation island instead of one with seating. Reclaimed beams on the ceiling adds rustic charm against minimal cabinetry. The home will be finished in early summer this year, more images coming soon !
